The Delima of School Photos

     Now this may not apply to all schools, but our local school system takes the worst yearly pictures (kids half asleep, messy hair, eyes closed, etc.), then charge a small fortune for a few prints. This year was no exception, so when L brought hers home a few months ago, we decided to have them done by professionals instead. For the past few years I have used Olan Mills Portrait Studio for Christmas pictures (I love their photo cards), so I booked an appointment with them a few weeks ago. Since we got to choose the time (late afternoon) she was in a great mood and loved being able to make sure her hair, makeup, and outfit looked perfect. I was tickled with the multiple shots I had to pick from and the price I paid (almost half of what the school charged!). Since there were so many great photos we ended up getting a cute collage that has her school name, grade level, & year as a border. It was a complete win-win scenario & we look forward to doing her school pictures with them throughout highschool!
